联合大陆航空行政总裁穆尼奥斯(Oscar Munoz)周二再发表声明，就旗下联合航空要求警察粗暴地拖走一个越南裔乘客的事件，再度向公众道歉。
穆尼奥斯表示，对事件「深感歉意」，强调「没有人应该被如此对待」，集团会于4月30日前完成事件的评估，以及研究机票超卖与相关处理的政策。
自从拖走过程被人摆上社交媒体后，联航便被全球网民与舆论勐烈批评，发动抵制该公司航班的运动。穆尼奥斯第一次回应事件时只表示，要为「需要重新安置」乘客致歉，又批评乘客「生事及好斗」。
另，据英文媒体报道，已有两名芝加哥地区的律师接手案件，代表被暴力赶下飞机的医生与美联航开始交涉。
