Import Air/Ocean Logistics Coordinator (Freight Forwarder)
International Freight Forwarder looking for Import Logistics Coordinator
We currently have an immediate need for a full-time position for ImportAir/Ocean Logistics Coordinator
Easily applyThe ideal candidate will have a solid experience in 3PLenvironment;
Coordinate all aspects of shipment process, including booking, manifest, Bills of Lading and billing.
Review all shipment documentation to confirm accuracy and perform data input to open file
Ensure all client special instructions are followed
Assist other team members as needed to ensure timely completion of work
Maintain effective relationship with clients and answer general inquiries regarding shipment status
Tracking status with truckers & ocean and air carriers and keeping clients/agents advised of status
Ensure shipments are released in a timely manner by communicating with customs brokers and cargo is delivered in a timely manner.
Follow up on client’s reports
Perform billing function including preparing client invoice and all required support documents
Maintain customer profiles
Desired Skills and Experience
Minimum 3 years related experience;
Experience handling Ocean and Air shipments and asset
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written)
Strong customer service skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
Team Player
Strong computer skills
Fluent in English and French, speak Mandarin will be an asset
